Security Automation Engineer

Description Essential Duties Review and contribute to the design of AppSec automation, analytics and data visualization systems Implement new functionality, diagnose and resolve defects in code configuration Contribute ideas to strategy and process improvement Documentation and diagram updates Other Duties Take on special projects as required Able to work independently or collaboratively with equal effectiveness Able to find creative solutions to novel problems in an effective and agile manner Eager to learn Required Qualifications Demonstrated ability to develop software Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Familiarity with REST API development and JSON data interchange Ability to troubleshoot in and deploy to Global Payments Cloud Framework Interest in Information Security, and Source Code Analysis Career Path The position and structure of InfoSec Application Security Automation creates opportunities to receive exposure to a variety of aspects of Software Development and Cyber Security.
This will allow practical exposure to provide more information when deciding a career path.
Knowledge of Python, Kafka, Redis, K8S deployment YAML, Unix Shell, Docker, Make.
Comfortable operating in a Unix/Linux command line environment Source Code Control Systems (git) use as well as API coding
