Senior Staff Supervisor *Job Description* Job Title: Senior Staff Supervisor Department: Residential Care Reports: Director Responsible for the daily management of the residence in which children are placed for care.
The duties of the Senior Staff Supervisor are to supervise the staff and ensure the quality of care for the children.
* Assist with the completion of weekly academic supports for all youth.
* Ensure that all incident reports are submitted to the Director within a timely manner.
* Assist with the resident interview and intake process.
* Complete weekly grocery shopping.
* Assist and schedule daily medical appointments.
* Ensure the appointment board is updated as needed on a daily basis.
* Ensure that the home has supplies on a weekly basis as needed.
* Complete and ensure that weekly menus and chore lists are posted.
* Complete monthly staff schedules and provide a copy to the Director by the 25th of each month.
* Complete review and update daily medication mars for all youth.
* Ensure that the home has copies of all daily paperwork to complete documentation.
* Attend all trainings as required to perform duties.
* Maintain confidential information.
* · Participate in weekly administration meetings * · Model and encourage direct, professional communication.
* · Submit all work orders to the Director within a timely manner.
*Education and Experience:* * Must have at least two years of childcare experience.
* High School Diploma or General Education Diploma.
* Ability to work with at risk youth, including communicating with such youth; Knowledge of, and the ability to comply with state guidelines governing residential care facilities.
* Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team.
* Ability to handle sensitive information and situations in a calm and professional manner.
* Openness to feedback and supervision.
* Values working in a multicultural/diverse work environment.
* Ability to communicate in a professional manner, both orally and in writing.
* Ability to maintain professional boundaries and to handle confidential information.
* Organizational and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27,040.
00 - $33,280.
